THE JOY OF OPENING A BOOK WITH THE RIGHT BINDING:
The Thread Stitching is The traditional procedure for book binding and offers the best quality in terms of durability and on ease of opening.
But also the PERFECT BINDING is also a reliable binding for most books, with optimum grip, and it is cheaper as well. SADDLE STITCHING, as seen in magazines, is also suitable for simpler, thinner products.

Binding Type And Material
Haptic High:
Give your K-BOOK the chance to be unique. In addition to the binding option, it is important to choose the type of cover. There are various types of binding that can be used to customize a book. The cloth binding, the half-cloth , the stiff soft cover, the gatefolded brochure, and also the English or Swiss brochure. Or maybe even an Otabind? There are few limits to the choice of materials. But the type of cover should match the material, the binding, and the design.
A CLOTH BINDING is given a fabric covering: K-Books offers a wide selection offabrics in different textures and colours.
In the case of the half-cloth binding only the spine is clad in fabric; the other surfaces receive a paper coating that can be printed on.
The PAPER BINDING is completely covered with paper. A coloured paper coating material can be used as an alternative to printed paper.
On request, any book can get a protective cover.
PaPer and graMMage
A world of its own:
They say paper is patient … and that is a good thing, because it takes time to select the right paper for a K-BOOK.
The choice of paper has a great influence on the overall impact of your K-BOOK. What surface do you want for your paper, for example: coated or uncoated? How good is the image reproduction and readability? Or should the paper have volume; how good is the opacity and how about the whiteness of the paper? Would you perhaps like to work with ecologically certified paper?
