Colour Schemes
CMYK: The print consists of the individual colours cyan (blue), magenta (red), yellow and key/black (contour). This is also referred to as the CMYK colour space. For digital printing the document to be printed must be set to CMYK mode.
Pantone: So called special colours, not generated by mixing colours on the printed sheet but produced as a single colour. Special colours are generally more expensive than standard colours.
RGB: This colour space is suitable only for digital imaging, for example, on a display screen. All image data must be converted for printing in CMYK.
